Phillip Bryant - Civil Defense Attorney, Pitzer Snodgrass, P.C.

Phillip Bryant engages in a variety of civil litigation defense cases in federal and state courts throughout Missouri and Southern Illinois.  He has tried cases, presented arguments in appellate courts, and has been involved in mediation and arbitration.  He is experienced in handling complex cases that involve catastrophic injuries, multiple plaintiffs and multiple defendants.

Phillip’s prior work experience brings a unique perspective to his law practice:

Phillip’s considerable experience with insurance enables him to effectively represent insured companies and individuals within the context of established guidelines.  He also serves as coverage counsel on complex matters and defends insurers from first party claims.

Working with heavy equipment on his family’s farm provides Phillip a unique understanding of the circumstances that involve tools and machinery.  That includes augers, saws, tractors and forklifts.  This assists in defending cases involving industrial equipment and power tools.

Phillip has personal knowledge of the challenges faced by manufacturers, processors and warehouses because of his prior work in purchasing for livestock feed, in grain elevator operations and in wholesale farm supply.

Trucking companies have benefited from Phillip’s expertise in transportation claims given Phillip’s knowledge of regulations and his understanding of issues that are unique to that industry.

His clients include:

  • Insurance companies
  • Manufacturers of tools, industrial and agricultural equipment
  • Manufacturers of asbestos-containing products
  • Manufacturers of medical products
  • Trucking companies
  • Retail and Hospitality companies
