Don O’Keefe successfully defended the Bi-State Development Agency against a slip-and-fall claim where the claimant held Bi-State Development Agency partially resposible for an injury sustained while attempting to board a bus.
This case went to trial in the St. Louis City Circuit Court. The jury returned a quick verdict in favor of the defendant, finding them free of fault for the plaintiff’s injury. Read more about the successful defense of this slip-and-fall claim.
Dean Nichols represented the defendant, Walter Wurdack, Inc, an industrial coatings and paint manufacturer. The plaintiff, American Puzzle Company, LLC, claimed substantial loss of business due to failing a CPSIA test because of the defendant’s product.

Phillip Bryant and Aahren Rodriguez DePalma represented the defendant, Jon Mueller, an indoor soccer player insured by SafeCo. The plaintiff, Troy Manzella, claimed the defendant intentionally head-butted him in the face during the game causing a deviated septum which required surgery and had post surgery lasting effects.

Phillip Bryant represented the defendant, Virginia Evans, in a personal injury claim against her. The plaintiff, Tana Houston, claimed herniated discs of the cervical and lumbar spine that would eventually require surgery, following an accident where the defendent hit the plaintiff’s car from behind.
