Awards received include the Lon O. Hocker Trial Lawyer Award presented by the Missouri Bar Foundation to young lawyers who demonstrate unusual proficiency in the art of trial advocacy.  This award was presented to Christopher J. Lang.  The John C. Shepherd Award for Professionalism from the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis has been presented to both Christopher J. Lang and J.D. Luhning.

Our excellence begins before entering the profession.  Through outstanding academic achievement we have excelled during law school Moot Court competitions.  While in law school, our attorneys have served on the Law Reviews of the University of Missouri, St. Louis University and Washington University.

The firm received the St. Louis University David Grant Award that honors law students who have shown an interest in civil rights and work with indigent clients.

In addition to the legal awards, our attorneys are recognized for work outside the legal community.  This includes the 2005 recipient of the Volunteer Lawyer of the Year by the Legal Services of Eastern Missouri.
